BairesDev is seeking an AWS IoT Solutions Architect to lead the technical direction of a cloud platform for connected devices, starting with an honest migration assessment from GCP to AWS and designing a secure, reusable architecture.

You will balance strict security with cost, serve as a client-facing security expert, and define a multi-tier RBAC/IAM model. This 100% remote role offers USD compensation and global collaboration.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture.
• Strong expertise in AWS, with IoT platform work on AWS (MQTT ingestion, device fleet management).
• Experience migrating GCP to AWS.
• Background in SOC 2 security architecture.
• Experience with multi-tenant RBAC and IAM design.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Assess current cloud setup and craft target AWS architecture and migration plan.
• Design IoT platform architecture on AWS, including MQTT ingestion and device fleet management.
• Make build-vs-buy decisions on AWS IoT Core, authentication, and billing.
• Create a multi-tier access model for different user roles across the platform.
• Architect for SOC 2 security requirements and act as client-facing security expert.
• Design for reuse across future product lines, not a one-off solution.
