BairesDev is seeking an AppSec Engineer to champion security across the application layer, partnering with engineering teams to embed robust protections into the software development lifecycle. You will conduct secure code reviews, threat modeling, and integrate SAST/DAST into CI/CD to protect web applications and APIs.
You will lead security guidance, stay ahead of threats, and mentor developers on OWASP standards.
Formación
- 4+ years in Application Security, Software Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Expertise in application-layer security including threat modeling and secure code review.
- Proficiency with SAST/DAST tools (Semgrep, SonarQube, Snyk, OWASP ZAP).
- Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and SDLC security practices.
- Strong ability to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in web apps and APIs.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Responsabilidades
- Perform secure code reviews and architectural assessments for web apps and APIs.
- Execute SAST/DAST workflows to detect and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Lead threat modeling sessions using STRIDE to map trust boundaries.
- Integrate automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide guidance to developers on secure coding and OWASP standards.
- Stay current with threat landscape to implement defensive strategies.
