BairesDev is hiring an API Test Engineer for remote work. You will design and implement automated tests for REST and GraphQL APIs, build contract tests, and ensure CI/CD integration to deliver reliable software. Strong collaboration with developers and a focus on performance and reliability are essential.

We value 4+ years in QA automation, proficiency with Postman and REST Assured, and excellent English. This role offers 100% remote work with flexible hours and competitive USD compensation.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Engineering.
• API-level testing experience, including functional and performance testing.
• Proficiency with Postman and REST Assured.
• Hands-on experience with contract testing for REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong understanding of automated testing integration within CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement automated test suites for REST and GraphQL APIs using Postman and REST Assured.
• Develop and execute contract tests to ensure seamless integration between microservices.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to validate API behavior under various conditions.
• Collaborate with developers to define API specifications and edge cases early in the design phase.
• Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality assurance and rapid feedback loops.
• Document and track defects, working closely with engineering teams to drive timely resolutions.
