Outlier is hiring QA Coders to audit AI-generated code and rate model responses. You will help improve AI coding capabilities by reviewing outputs, writing clear prompts, and contributing insights.

This is a freelance, 1099 role with flexible hours and remote work from eligible countries. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science, have real-world software engineering experience, and can explain complex ideas clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase, ideally for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions: accuracy, instruction following, presentation.
• Write computer science questions: develop clear prompts that challenge AI models.
