Outlier is building a remote, flexible program for LatAm's best software engineers to train AI models by reviewing and ranking AI-generated code. Join as a QA Coder and help improve code generation with structured guidelines.

Core pay is hourly up to $34 USD, with additional incentives on missions; you can work from anywhere in Latin America under a 1099 contract, with access to leading LLMs and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase ideally for a technology company.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses on accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write clear, well-structured computer science questions that challenge AI models and push the boundaries of coding ability.
