Capgemini Engineering in Bogotá, Colombia is seeking a React Engineer to build and maintain modern web and mobile applications, with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and state management. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver responsive, accessible apps while following modern development practices.

The role involves contributing to CI/CD pipelines, testing with Jest, and ensuring performance and accessibility standards

Formación

• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong experience with TypeScript
• Expertise in React and Redux state management
• Experience with React Native
• RESTful API integration experience
• Proficiency with TailwindCSS and responsive UI
• Familiarity with UI testing using Jest/RTL
• GIT version control and GitFlow workflows
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps)
• Performance optimization and accessibility best practices

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.
• Implement responsive and mobile-friendly user interfaces following design specs.
• Manage application state using Redux and Redux Toolkit.
• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native.
• Integrate frontend apps with RESTful APIs and third‑party services.
• Implement user tracking and analytics integrations.
• Write unit tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Optimize application performance and user experience.
• Ensure accessibility (a11y) standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and CI/CD processes.
