GIGA IT in Colombia is seeking a QA Automation Senior to join its technology and events team. You will design and scale automated testing across unit to end-to-end layers, integrating QA into CI/CD and sprint planning.

You will work with AI/ML testing, define quality metrics, and collaborate with engineering leadership to select QA tools. Remote-friendly; standard hours; flex options.

Qualifications

Summary

We are looking for a new GIGAnte to join our team as a QA Automation Senior. You will be part of a technology and event production company with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. The company combines audiovisual technology, creative services, and digital solutions to support in-person, hybrid, and virtual events.

What You'll Do

• Develop and scale automated testing frameworks across unit, integration, API, end-to-end, performance, and regression layers.
• Promote early quality practices: integrate quality assurance into CI/CD pipelines, code review, and sprint planning, rather than treating testing as a final step.
• Select and optimize the quality assurance toolkit (test management, automation frameworks, defect tracking, observability) in collaboration with the engineering leadership team.
• Define and monitor quality metrics—defect rate, test coverage, MTTR, release quality—and report them to the team.

We'll Expect You To Have

• Over 6 years of experience in software quality assurance/engineering.
• Proven experience designing QA processes and strategies from scratch, not just implementing them within an existing framework.
• Solid hands‑on experience with test automation (Ruby, RSpec, Capybara, Appium, Selenium, AWS) and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Direct experience testing AI/ML systems and/or data pipelines: model validation, data quality checks, or evaluation frameworks for ML/LLM-based functionalities.
• Strong understanding of SDLC/Agile methodologies and how QA is integrated into sprint-based delivery.
