Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks a curious Corporate & Public Affairs Intern to support policy monitoring, research, and communications across Colombia with exposure to Peru, Ecuador, and Venezuela. You’ll work with seasoned professionals to develop skills in research, stakeholder engagement, and event coordination within the medical technology sector.

You will gain hands‑on experience in policy monitoring, government relations, and corporate communications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Political Science, International Relations, Government & Public Affairs, Public Administration, Law, Communications, or related field.
• Strong interest in public affairs, government relations, healthcare policy, regulation, and institutional engagement.
• Good research, analytical, and information‑synthesis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to present information clearly.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• A proactive, collaborative, and curious mindset; team oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Public policy and regulatory monitoring in the healthcare sector and medical technology industry.
• Research on healthcare policies, government initiatives, public institutions, and industry trends.
• Prepare presentations, reports, policy briefs, and meeting summaries.
• Support meetings with government institutions, industry associations and stakeholders.
• Maintain stakeholder databases and institutional information.
• Coordinate internal meetings and external engagements; prepare materials.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather information.
• Track ongoing initiatives and organize documentation.
