Star is a global technology consultancy hiring a Technical Delivery Manager with a strong software engineering background to lead technical delivery for an enterprise-grade Smart Retail and IoT Telemetry Platform across large-scale retail networks.

You will translate business needs into developer-ready specifications and bridge Product Management, Business Analysis and Engineering across global touchpoints, ensuring high-quality, timely software releases.

Formación

• 2+ years hands-on software engineering or technical systems analysis (REST APIs, databases, cloud, data structures)
• 3+ years delivering complex cloud software or IoT platforms with Agile/Scrum
• Strong AWS cloud concepts, API workflows, database design, data-driven software
• Proficient with AI tools to accelerate delivery workflows and build pipelines
• Excellent written and spoken English with ability to translate tech to business terms
• Experience with Scrum and SDLC methodologies

Responsabilidades

• Translate high-level requirements into granular JIRA epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for UX engineers, backend developers, DB engineers, and data teams
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architects and Engineers to eliminate ambiguity
• Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily execution across distributed teams
• Review API contracts, data pipelines, database schemas, and cloud architecture to align with platform standards
• Manage customer expectations, remove delivery bottlenecks, and coordinate cross-time-zone dependencies

We are seeking an empathetic, results-oriented Technical Delivery Manager with a strong software engineering background to join our Project Delivery team. In this role, you will lead technical delivery for an enterprise-grade Smart Retail and IoT Telemetry Platform that powers connected equipment, real‑time analytics, and predictive operations across large-scale retail networks.

You will be responsible for translating functional business needs into highly detailed, developer‑ready technical specifications. This is a high‑visibility role bridging the gap between Product Management/Business Analysis and Engineering/Architecture teams across global touchpoints.

Skills And Experience You Can Bring To This Role

Qualifications & experience

• Technical Experience: 2+ years of hands‑on software engineering or technical systems analysis experience (REST APIs, databases, cloud architecture, or data structures)
• Delivery Management: 3+ years of experience leading Agile/Scrum teams, grooming JIRA backlogs, and delivering complex cloud software or IoT platforms
• Domain & Cloud Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud concepts, API workflows, database design, and algorithmic/data‑driven software capabilities
• AI & Engineering Tools: Proficient user of AI tools to accelerate delivery workflows, with a practical understanding of Harness engineering/deployment pipelines and build processes
• Consulting & Communication: Advanced written and spoken English with strong consulting skills, specifically the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply to business stakeholders and turn business vision into developer requirements
• Methodologies: Deep practical experience in Scrum and Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Educational requirements

• MS/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred. Credit will be given to candidates who do not have relevant degrees but can demonstrate equivalent work experience.

What Impact You’ll Make

• Technical Ticket Grooming & Specifications: Translate high‑level functional requirements into granular JIRA epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria tailored for UX engineers, backend API developers, database engineers, and data algorithm teams.
• Cross‑Functional Bridge: Work closely with Product Managers and Business Analysts (functional domain) alongside Architects and Engineers (technical execution) to eliminate ambiguity and streamline sprint commitments.
• Agile Scrum Delivery: Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily execution across distributed development teams to ensure high‑quality, predictable software releases.
• System Alignment: Review API contracts, data pipeline logic, database schemas, and cloud architecture (AWS) to ensure user stories align with overall platform technical standards.
• Process Excellence: Manage customer expectations, remove delivery bottlenecks, hold internal teams accountable to commitments, and proactively manage technical dependencies across global time zones.
