RS2 in Colombia is seeking a Product Owner to lead end-to-end product development, from concept through launch and ongoing enhancement. You will shape vision, manage priorities, and ensure solutions deliver value to clients.

You will work with cross-functional teams, guide Agile ceremonies, and own backlog, epics, and user stories. The role demands fintech domain experience and a customer-first mindset to drive market success.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or payments industry.
• Experience delivering SaaS products and payment solutions.
• Experience with API-driven products and payment standards.

Responsabilidades

• Define product vision, roadmap and priorities aligned with business goals.
• Own backlog with epics, features, and user stories; manage MVPs/MMFs.
• Lead Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, partners and internal teams to translate needs into product initiatives.
• Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch.

We are looking for a Product Owner to lead the end-to-end development of our products, from initial concept through to launch and ongoing enhancement. You’ll play a key role in defining product vision, managing priorities, and ensuring our solutions deliver exceptional value to our clients.

What You’ll Do

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Contribute to the firm’s overall product roadmap and global go-to-market strategy.
• Research market trends, customer needs, industry developments, and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer challenges and translate them into product initiatives.

Product Backlog & Requirements

• Own, manage, and continuously prioritise the product backlog.
• Create, own, and prioritise epics, features, and user stories.
• Gather and analyse feature requests, developing detailed business and technical requirements for development teams and partners.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint coordination.

Product Delivery & Execution

• Oversee the full product lifecycle, from ideation and design through to launch and post-launch management.
• Manage product releases, ensuring delivery meets client expectations, timelines, and commitments.
• Monitor product progress, performance, and quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain and manage the product catalogue.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

• Act as the primary product ambassador, representing the product with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Clearly communicate the product’s value proposition and business benefits.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and gathering ongoing feedback.

Business Development Support

• Support global business development initiatives, including proposal development, marketing activities, solution offerings, and client pursuits.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Experience within the fintech, banking, or payments industry.
• Experience delivering SaaS products, card payment solutions, alternative payment methods, mobile wallets, ecommerce platforms, or related payment technologies.

Agile & Product Management

• Strong knowledge of Agile and Kanban methodologies.
• Proven experience managing product backlogs, sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and Agile delivery.
• Experience defining and delivering Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), Minimum Marketable Features (MMFs), product roadmaps, and business plans.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong commercial awareness combined with technical understanding.
• Experience working with APIs, payment processing specifications, and payment industry standards including:
• PCI DSS
• ISO 8583
• ISO 20022
• PSD2
• Proficiency with Jira, Microsoft Office tools, and an interest in emerging technologies.
