This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Solutions Architect in Colombia.

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data solutions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and clients to translate business requirements into robust, scalable architectures. You will act as a technical leader and trusted advisor, guiding both internal teams and external stakeholders through complex projects. The role involves hands‑on implementation across cloud platforms, programming, and data integration technologies, while also mentoring and managing other architects and engineers. You will help shape client strategies, ensuring high performance, security, and operational excellence. Accountabilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of end‑to‑end data solutions across cloud platforms and enterprise environments
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, technology partners, and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Mentor and manage Solution Architects and Data Engineers, fostering internal growth and high performance
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, including detailed solution documentation, roadmaps, and presentations
• Ensure solution scalability, security, performance, and robust data integration across diverse systems
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities and client needs
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience as a Solutions Architect designing and implementing data solutions
• 2+ years of consulting leadership experience with external clients
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and/or Scala
• Expertise in core cloud platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks) and SQL
• Experience with data integration technologies (Spark, Kafka, Streamsets, Fivetran, NiFi, etc.)
• Knowledge of distributed data storage, workflow orchestration, and data modeling methodologies
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, mentoring staff, and driving project success
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills, including presentations and detailed technical documentation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Preferred experience with automated data transformation, orchestration tools, and multi‑source data integration
