About the Role

Solvo Global is seeking a highly experienced Principal Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and evolution of modern SaaS applications. This role combines hands-on software engineering, technical leadership, and architectural decision-making to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions used by customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud-native application development, with a strong background in software architecture, microservices, and SaaS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Single-Page Applications (SPA) using Angular.
• Build and enhance APIs, services, and microservices using Node.js and Express.
• Define software architecture and technical standards across engineering teams.
• Design and support multi-tenant SaaS solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in software development.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, observability, and scalability.
• Support CI/CD processes and collaborate with DevOps and Operations teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to improve engineering productivity.

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level experience with Angular (2+).
• Expert-level experience with Node.js and Express.
• Strong experience designing and developing APIs and Microservices.
• Experience working with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Solid understanding of Software Architecture and Distributed Systems.
• Experience building and supporting SaaS applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Application monitoring and observability.
• Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows.
