Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Data & Analytics Developer to build Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that turn enterprise data into actionable business insights. The role requires 4+ years of Power BI experience, strong data modeling, SQL skills, and experience with Snowflake or SAP data sources.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and data owners to deliver scalable analytics, promote reusable data models, and ensure data quality across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards/reports.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
• Strong SQL skills with relational and analytical data.
• Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience with SAP HANA, SAP data, or SAP-based source systems.
• Experience with data modeling, transformation, and integration concepts.
• Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
• Ability to translate business processes into data requirements for technical teams.
• Excellent communication with business and technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, KPI definitions, and data consistency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand processes, KPIs, data definitions, and analytical needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for actionable insights.
• Translate requirements into data models, metrics, and visuals.
• Collaborate with IT and data owners to identify data needs and source structures.
• Support onboarding and integration of data into the data platform (Snowflake and SAP HANA).
• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues across the data flow from source to semantic model to Power BI.
• Improve data consistency, quality, and reliability with stakeholders and teams.
• Promote reusable data models and standardized KPI definitions across domains.
• Provide guidance on effective data visualization to support decisions.
• Document data definitions, reporting logic, KPIs, and technical solutions.
• Work in an Agile environment with distributed/remote teams.
