AECOM is seeking an experienced Ports, Goods and Movements Project Manager to support the LATAM region from our Colombia office. The role combines business development with project delivery across goods movement and ports projects, requiring hands-on leadership and client engagement.

You will lead multi-project portfolios, guide teams through planning, execution and closure, manage risks, and ensure revenues and margins meet targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related industry or field.
• Over 6 years of experience designing, managing and delivering goods and movements or ports projects.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; strong client engagement skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead business development for the Goods and Movements and Ports market, including strategy and opportunity capture.
• Identify opportunities, engage clients, and develop capture plans at proposal stage.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee project planning, execution, and closure.
• Manage projects through conceptual to detail design phases, and report to LATAM Transportation Leader.

AECOM is seeking for an experiencedPorts, Goods and Movements Project Manager to support the LATAM region based out of our Colombia office.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The PM will perform Business Development for the Goods and Movement and Ports market. This covers the following responsibilities among others:
  • Stablish business development strategies,
  • Identification of opportunities,
  • Client engagement for project opportunities
  • Develop capture planning at proposal stage,
  • Contract negotiation.
• The Project Manager will be responsible for planning and executing a project considering the following:
  • Project planning and set up.
  • Project execution, delivery and closure
• Perform risk management at proposal and execution phases of a project.
• Manage and developing projects at conceptual, prefeasibility, feasibility and detail design phases.
• Reporting to the LATAM Transportation Business Line Leader.
• Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
• Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by execution of projects.
• Consistently delivers profit margins planned.
• Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
• Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors).
• Manages more complex clients and projects.
• Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.
• Supervises and directsmultiple projects or program of projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related industry.
  • Must have over 6 years of experience designing, managing and delivering Goods and movements or Ports projects.
  • Must have client management skills to pursuit and close opportunities and to execute and deliver projects meeting client satisfaction.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.

Preferred Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience designing, managing and delivering Goods and movements or Ports projects.
• PMPCertificate or relevant certifications
