Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Data Analyst with a strong Pharmaceutical, Clinical, or Biological sciences background to support in vitro application portfolios for a major pharmaceutical client. You will bridge science and data, guiding a team of engineers and collaborating with subject matter experts.

In this role you will convert complex scientific concepts into clear data visuals and documentation, lead deliverables, and grow pharma R&D domain knowledge in a globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Educational or career background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of applicable experience with life-sciences platforms (Genedata Screener, Dotmatics, or Signal VitroVivo).
• Experience leading development teams.
• Ability to translate scientific and application concepts into visuals, docs, and actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Act as domain expert to support a technical team of ~15 engineers.
• Guide engineering toward understanding in vitro applications, data flows, and ecosystem.
• Create clear visual representations of portfolios and data flows.
• Develop documentation to empower engineers to investigate and close support requests.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and learn from specialists.
