Advanced Supply Chain Group seeks a People Coordinator LatAm to oversee human talent management in Medellín. You will lead recruitment, development, performance evaluation, compensation, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with labor regulations.

You will partner with leaders to drive strategic HR support, foster a positive workplace culture, and continuously improve HR processes, reporting on key metrics and improving the employee experience.

Formación

  • Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Specialization in Human Resources Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within HR.
  • English proficiency required.
  • Experience managing payroll and social security programs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Preferably ISO 9001 knowledge.

Description

Responsible for overseeing activities related to human talent management within the organization. Leads key processes such as recruitment, hiring, development, performance evaluation, compensation, and employee relations. Responsible for implementing strategies aligned with organizational objectives, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Collaborates with different areas to provide strategic support in decision-making related to human capital.

Key Responsibilities

Main Tasks

  • Strategic Human Resources Planning: Design and execute Human Resources strategies aligned with the organization's objectives, ensuring effective workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Talent Attraction and Retention: Lead recruitment and selection processes to attract the best talent, as well as implement retention strategies that reduce turnover and strengthen teams.
  • Performance Management: Support performance evaluation systems, providing assistance to leaders and ensuring continuous feedback for professional development.
  • Workplace Climate and Organizational Culture: Foster a positive organizational culture through internal communication, employee well-being, and engagement initiatives.
  • Training and Development: Identify skill gaps and lead programs that promote employee growth and strengthen organizational capabilities.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Labor Risk Management: Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and ethical standards; appropriately manage conflicts and disciplinary processes.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor Human Resources indicators and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration: Manage salary structures and benefit programs to ensure external competitiveness, internal equity, and employee motivation.
  • Management and Leadership Advisory: Serve as a strategic partner to organizational leaders, providing advice on people-related matters and organizational changes.
  • Continuous Improvement of Human Resources Processes: Continuously optimize Human Resources processes, policies, and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the employee experience.

Special Tasks / Projects

  • Ensure compliance with applicable QM-EM management system policies within Human Resources, promoting sustainable workplace practices aligned with quality and environmental standards.
  • Ensure integration of QM-EM management system requirements into Human Resources processes, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee well-being.
  • Implement talent-management strategies that ensure the continuous development of employee competencies and employee retention.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, codes of conduct, and ethical standards applicable to people management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Human Resources records and documentation in accordance with legal and management-system requirements, including contracts, training records, evaluations, and related documents.
Special Competencies

Authority to Sign on Behalf of the Company

May sign documentation related to people management, including internal communications and official Human Resources letters, employment certificates, and other formal departmental documents. Authorized to represent the Human Resources Department during internal and external audits concerning legal and regulatory compliance and management systems. Authorized to manage and coordinate recruitment, onboarding/induction, training, organizational climate, and employee well-being processes on behalf of the company

Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or Industrial Engineering

  • Preferably, knowledge of ISO 9001.
