Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply in San Benito, TX is seeking a part-time Yard Crewmember to assist customers in the lumberyard, operate a forklift, stock products, and provide general store support.

You will greet customers, load and unload goods, respond to questions, perform safety checks, maintain yard cleanliness, and participate in meetings and training. A high school diploma is preferred and forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the yard.
• Load/unload products safely for customers and vendors.
• Answer customer questions about products.
• Report customer concerns to management promptly.
• Move and stock materials in yard/warehouse/store interior.
• Perform routine forklift safety checks per guidelines.
• Keep lumberyard/warehouses clean and organized.
• Verify tickets against loaded merchandise.
• Cover exposed materials to prevent weather damage.
• Cut lumber and related materials as requested.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Attend store meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
