Job summary

Langford Staffing is seeking experienced Outbound Appointment Setters for a client running high-volume consumer outreach campaigns. You will make calls using an automatic dialer, qualify leads, handle objections, and move prospects to a warm transfer to a sales rep.

Full-time remote role requiring English fluency and the ability to work during U.S. Eastern Time hours, with a focus on meeting hourly and daily targets across campaigns in health, telecom, and other services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in appointment setting, outbound calling, telesales, lead generation, call-centre sales, or live transfers.
• Experience using an automatic or predictive dialer.
• Experience qualifying consumers before scheduling an appointment or completing a transfer.
• Strong objection-handling and persuasive communication skills.
• Experience working toward transfer, appointment, conversion, or call targets.
• Clear and professional spoken English.
• Ability to remain calm with challenging customers.
• Strong listening skills and accurate CRM and call-disposition habits.
• Willingness to receive coaching and apply feedback.
• Full-time availability during U.S. Eastern Time calling hours.

The Opportunity

Langford Staffing is recruiting experienced Outbound Appointment Setters for a client operating high-volume consumer outreach campaigns.

You will contact company-provided leads through an automatic dialer, introduce the campaign, ask qualification questions, respond to objections, and move interested consumers to the next step.

For most campaigns, the preferred outcome is an immediate warm or live transfer to a sales representative. You will not complete the final sale.

What You’ll Do

• Make high-volume outbound calls using an automatic dialer.
• Gain the consumer’s attention quickly.
• Deliver clear and professional call openings.
• Ask required qualification questions.
• Handle objections and initial rejection.
• Build interest without using aggressive or misleading tactics.
• Ask qualified consumers to speak with a sales representative.
• Complete warm and live transfers.
• Schedule callbacks or appointments when required.
• Record accurate notes, outcomes, and call dispositions.
• Follow campaign scripts, qualification requirements, and opt-out procedures.
• Meet hourly and daily performance targets.

Campaigns may involve health benefits, insurance, telecommunications, or other consumer services.

Required Experience

• Three or more years of experience in appointment setting, outbound calling, telesales, lead generation, call-centre sales, or live transfers.
• Experience using an automatic or predictive dialer.
• Experience qualifying consumers before scheduling an appointment or completing a transfer.
• Strong objection-handling and persuasive communication skills.
• Experience working toward transfer, appointment, conversion, or call targets.
• Clear and professional spoken English.
• The ability to remain calm with impatient, skeptical, or difficult consumers.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to adjust your response.Accurate CRM and call-disposition habits.
• Willingness to receive coaching and apply feedback.
• Full-time availability during U.S. Eastern Time calling hours.

Experience with Convoso, Five9, NICE CXone, Genesys Cloud CX, CallTools, Readymode, or a similar dialer is preferred.

Remote Work Requirements

You must have:

• A computer with at least 16 GB of RAM.
• Dual monitors, including an external monitor of at least 22 inches.
• A wired USB noise-cancelling headset.
• A webcam.
• A quiet workspace suitable for continuous calls.
• Wired internet with at least 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Backup internet and power arrangements.
• The ability to use a dialer, CRM, and campaign system simultaneously.
