SoftwareOne is seeking a Middleware & Kubernetes Administrator to join our Infrastructure & Platforms team. You will administer and optimize middleware platforms and containerized environments to keep mission-critical business applications running.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with WebLogic, JBoss, Apache, ActiveMQ, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, automation, and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience administering middleware and container platforms.
• Operational focus on critical business applications, automation, and Linux/Cloud management.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a professional to join our Infrastructure & Platforms team, supporting the administration, automation, and operation of middleware and containerized environments.

What will a typical day look like in this role?

• Administer and optimize middleware platforms such as WebLogic, JBoss, Apache, and ActiveMQ.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring service availability and stability.
• Automate operational processes and deployments while supporting the resolution of incidents and issues in production environments.
• Apply security, monitoring, patching, and documentation best practices across the managed platforms.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with experience in middleware administration and container platforms. We are looking for a professional focused on the operation of critical business applications, process automation, and the management of Linux and Cloud environments.

Required Skills

• Kubernetes and Docker.
• WebLogic, JBoss, Apache, and/or ActiveMQ.
• Linux administration (preferably Red Hat).
• Scripting and process automation.
• Patch management, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices.
• CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or similar Cloud environments.

*This position will operate in a hybrid work model.
