Brazilian Lumber is seeking a Mid-Level E-Commerce Developer to build, maintain, and optimize our digital storefronts. You will be the technical backbone of our WooCommerce, Shopify, and PHP environments, customizing themes, building plugins/APIs, and maintaining integrations with CRM and ERP systems.

You will handle backend/API development, systems integration, performance optimization, security maintenance, and UI/UX implementation.

Formación

• 3–5 years of hands-on web development experience.
• 2+ years managing live, high-traffic WooCommerce or Shopify stores.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• English Proficiency: at least B2 level; comfortable reading technical documentation.
• Migration experience: completed re-platform of live stores to headless or server-rendered architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Backend & API Development: PHP for WordPress plugins, REST/GraphQL endpoints.
• Systems Integration: data flows between e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, CRM/ERP.
• Performance & Speed Optimization: optimize core web vitals, loading speeds, queries, caching.
• Security & System Maintenance: updates, SSLs, backups, hardening.
• UI/UX Implementation: translate designs (Figma/Adobe XD) into responsive pages.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with Marketing & Sales on technical implementations.
• Structured Data: implement server-rendered JSON-LD for Product, Offer, LocalBusiness, etc.
• Re-platforming & Migration: plan migrations with redirects and tracking.
• Design System & Multi-Site: shared component library for multiple storefronts.
• Core Web Vitals Ownership: target LCP, INP, CLS metrics.
