Job summary

Colonial Gardens, a Memory Care Community partnered with Navion Senior Solutions, is seeking a Resident Care Team Member for full-time 3rd shift to deliver high-quality personal care and support to residents.

The role requires compassion, teamwork, and experience with seniors. Duties include assisting with ADLs, meal prep and service, documenting changes, and responding to emergencies while upholding state regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED accepted.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Positive attitude and flexibility to perform various duties in service to residents.
• Dedication to and passion to serve seniors with excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to make choices and decisions in the resident’s best interest.
• Written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks and activities.
• Assist residents in dining room including serving meals and clearing tables.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Observe, document and report any changes to residents’ condition to the Resident Care Coordinator or designee.
• Communicate with residents and family members in a polite, professional manner.
• Maintain required resident care documentation per State regulations and Navion Senior Solutions policies and procedures.
• Transport residents when required.
