Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to join our distributed team and help train AI models by evaluating and improving AI-generated code. You will review code produced by AI models, assign quality scores, and create well-formed prompts to push model capabilities.

This is a freelance 1099 opportunity with flexible, remote work from anywhere. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Computer Science, production-code experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required.
• Software engineering experience in a live production codebase is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses on accuracy and instruction following.
