Job summary

Genius Sports is seeking a Match Lead to support live football and basketball operations. You will run live games using Genius Sports technology, ensuring accurate event data is captured and delivered on time, and you will lead Operators during live shifts.

You'll stay focused during game play, provide constructive feedback, and help improve our systems and processes. This role offers part-time hours with a hybrid model, and opportunities to grow within a global sports technology company.

Qualifications

Excellent attention to detail in loud or distracting environments.
Strong communication skills, especially under pressure.
Ability to work well with remote colleagues and live operations teams.
Punctuality and reliability for shifts tied to live game schedules.
Good working knowledge of Google and Microsoft tools, especially Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

Lead a group of Operators across 1–2 football games per shift.
Track and confirm key game events, including dead balls and stoppage time.
Confirm teams, line-ups, players and markings before and during games.
Stay focused during live ball situations and deliver accurate event data.
Join post-game meetings and share clear feedback with Operators and Operations Managers.
Complete marking tasks to improve system accuracy and design.
