Jiro S.A. is seeking an SDET / Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modernizing enterprise applications from .NET 6 to .NET 10.

You will work with developers and QA engineers to implement test strategies, automate functional and end-to-end tests, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. The role requires 6+ years in SDET or QA, strong automation framework experience, and proficiency with Playwright or similar tools.

• 6+ years of experience in SDET, Test Automation, or QA engineering.
• Experience designing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for modernized applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Participate in manual testing to achieve full coverage of modernized applications.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects and quality issues.
• Validate application upgrades, dependency updates, and compatibility changes.
• Execute test automation against web applications, APIs, and supporting services.
• Analyze test results, provide quality metrics, and communicate risks to project stakeholders.
• Promote test automation best practices and continuous quality improvement across squads.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test results, defect tracking, and release readiness.

Job Description

The SDET / Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for manual testing as well establishing and executing the automated testing strategy supporting the modernization of enterprise applications from .NET 6 to .NET 10. This role will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and the Tech Lead to build scalable test automation frameworks, improve software quality, and ensure reliable releases throughout the project lifecycle. The SDET will play a key role in validating application functionality, reducing regression risk, and supporting continuous delivery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
• Create automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for modernized applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET), Test Automation, or Quality Assurance engineering roles.
• Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation tools.
