Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Automation Tester in JavaScript to drive mobile test automation across iOS and Android using Appium, API testing, and web apps. You will shape automation standards, apply GenAI tools to speed workflows, and collaborate with distributed teams for comprehensive coverage and reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in mobile test automation, strong JS and Java skills, and CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Bitrise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation for mobile apps.
• Hands-on expertise with Appium for iOS and Android.
• Strong JavaScript and Java programming skills.
• Experience using GenAI tools for test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise.
• Experience with Xcode, iOS simulators, and device testing.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend testing.
• Proficiency with TestRail for test management.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain a mobile test automation framework.
• Roll out test automation best practices and CI/CD integration.
• Leverage GenAI tools to speed up regression testing.
• Create automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coverage.
• Review product requirements for clarity and consistency.
• Write test cases and validate defects.
• Participate in standups and meetings.
• Deliver status reporting to stakeholders.
