Scatec ASA in Girardot, Colombia, seeks a Mechanical Construction Supervisor to lead on-site mechanical activities for renewable energy projects. You will supervise construction, review docs, and coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and schedule.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years in EPC or large-scale construction, with preference for PV and HV experience, and fluency in the local language and English.

Formación

• The role requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EPC environments and medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical construction practices and site execution activities.
• Fluency in the local language and English; valid driver’s license and strong MS Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise all mechanical construction activities on site, monitor progress, and report deviations related to quality, schedule, cost, and HSSE.
• Review and approve construction documentation submitted by contractors and coordinate with Engineering for technical validation.
• Plan and lead Pre-Construction Meetings with subcontractors to align technical, quality, safety, and execution requirements.
• Monitor daily progress, assess completion forecasts, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspection and quality control activities with inspection teams to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
• Provide technical support to senior engineers and manage NCRs, follow up on corrective actions.
