Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Functional Tester to drive QA across desktop, mobile web, and native apps for a large-scale e-commerce project. You will lead a distributed QA team, implement automated testing, and apply GenAI to boost velocity and quality.

You will collaborate with on-site and offshore teams, define testing strategies, review requirements, and ensure top-notch defect management and reporting. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience.
• 2+ years leading QA teams (4–6 people).
• GenAI tools and services to improve QA processes.
• Experience with mobile testing and API/web services testing.
• Ability to define and improve testing strategy.
• Strong English communication (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing across desktop, mobile web, native apps, and back-end systems.
• Contribute to automated tests and execution.
• Apply GenAI solutions to improve velocity, regression, and reporting.
• Review requirements for clarity and consistency with features.
• Write defects and coordinate automation progress.
• Coordinate QA team planning, estimation, organizing, and prioritization.
• Create Jira dashboards, collect QA statistics, and provide sprint sign-off.
• Support production releases and participation in ceremonies.

We are looking for a Lead Functional Tester to join our team working on a large-scale e-commerce project in the beauty industry. Our project focuses on the development and support of applications across Desktop, mWeb, iOS, and Android platforms, including back-end, front-end, and native mobile apps.
