Lead DevOps AWS

We are a dynamic and innovative technology company committed to delivering cutting‑edge solutions to our clients. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Drive the migration process to GitHub, ensuring seamless integration with existing workflows.
• Work through the backlog of DevOps/CloudOps tickets, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and automate build and deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools, ensuring consistency and scalability across environments.
• Develop and implement security best practices, including access control, encryption, and monitoring, to safeguard our infrastructure and data.
• Mentor and coach junior members of the DevOps team, a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Act as a technical lead, providing guidance and expertise to cross‑functional teams on AWS architecture and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience working with AWS and related services.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Docker products.
• Great English proficiency (B2+ written and spoken).
• 8+ years of working experience with Cloud/Application Development/Platform engineering.
• Impeccable punctuality; being on time for meetings is crucial.
• Familiarity with Java and Python and related build tools.
• Basic understanding of AWS networking, including VPCs, Subnets, Firewall, TLS, etc.
• Experience setting up build and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, CodeBuild/CodeDeploy.
• Knowledge of security best practices.
• Automation‑first mindset.

Desired Skills

• Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, CloudFront, Elasticsearch, Fargate, Load Balancers, OpenSearch, S3, RDS, R53, etc.
