Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Lead Data Engineer (SQL) to mentor teams and design high-performance relational data models. You will develop, test, and maintain complex database objects, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity across systems.

This is a 100% remote role with flexible hours and global collaboration. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in database development or data engineering, with advanced T-SQL skills and a strong grounding in data modeling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Database Development or Data Engineering.
• Proven expertise in SQL Server development and advanced T-SQL engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience building complex stored procedures, views, and triggers.

Responsibilities

• Mentor database developers and align technical solutions with business goals.
• Design and document high-performance relational data models and schemas.
• Develop, test, and maintain complex database objects including procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Analyze query execution plans to diagnose bottlenecks and tune performance.
• Manage database transactions, ensuring data integrity and proper isolation.
