We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at Bayit Management. The ideal candidate will have a background in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, and a strong desire to grow within the field.

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations by recording, analyzing, and reporting financial data, as well as assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day financial records and accounting transactions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and related tasks.
• Review and analyze transactions from Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure they are accurately coded and recorded. Work with the AR team to investigate, resolve, and/or report any discrepancies.
• Record vendor invoices in the system and ensure proper use of the correct General Ledger (GL) accounts.
• Maintain financial statements from banks and other financial institutions for comprehensive reporting.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts as part of the monthly closing process.
• Process all invoices for payment and ensure all creditor payments are made accurately, efficiently, and on time.
• Resolve finance-related issues and inquiries promptly and effectively.
• Assist with internal and external audits, as well as annual tax return preparation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required).
• Prior work experience in a related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting software such as RealPage, and familiarity with QuickBooks, Expensify, and Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong self-motivation and eagerness to learn about Accounting and Finance in both the Hospitality and Real Estate industries.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Salary: USD $1,500 – $1,750 per month
