AgileEngine is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and support corporate networks, servers, and storage across on-prem and cloud environments. You will lead secure, fault-tolerant solutions, mentor staff, and collaborate with vendors in a fast-growth setting.

The role requires 6+ years of enterprise networking experience, strong Windows Server/AD and cloud skills (AWS/Azure), and the ability to work independently across US/EMEA time zones.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise LANs, servers, and storage.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper equipment and software.
• Strong proficiency deploying and administering firewalls, switches, and wireless infra (physical & virtual).
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Server OS & Active Directory.
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure; cloud-first approach.
• Experience in SOX-regulated environments is required.
• Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Familiar with Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange/Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive).
• Ability to patch deployment and manage updates across complex environments.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with strong documentation skills.

• Serve as escalation point for day-to-day operations.
• Plan and execute infrastructure projects across the landscape.
• Lead infrastructure and systems projects and applications initiatives.
• Device lifecycle support: remediation, firmware upgrades, decommissioning, documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with vendors/ MSPs.
• Define and execute enterprise infrastructure strategy; support global operations (US/EMEA).

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and support corporate networks, servers, and storage across on-premise and cloud environments.

MUST HAVES

• 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage systems.
• Network Equipment Experience: hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper equipment and software.
• Strong experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure (Physical and Virtual).
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory.
• Strong experience with cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure) with cloud first approach.
• Experience working in a SOX regulated company a must.
• Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with patch deployment required.
• Self-sufficient, self-managed, self-motivated, must be effective working independently.
• A service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating value for our internal customers and business partners.
• High energy and ability to work independently in a very fast growth environment.
• Discipline to document your work required.
• Ability to work with a project oriented approach for deliverables.

• Experience interfacing with and managing vendors and managed service providers.
• Experience operating in a 24x7 international company (US & EMEA).
• Excellent interaction and communication skills; ability to communicate (both written and verbal) clearly and concisely.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

• Minimum AA degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Cisco Certification a plus.
• AWS/Azure Certifications a plus.
• Networking certifications preferred.
• Experience with network and systems monitoring a plus.
• Experience with ITIL a plus.
• Experience with Linux a plus.
• Previous experience in healthcare, life-science, pharma or bio company a plus.

• Responsible for the design, build and support of corporate networks, servers, storage, telephony and systems.

• Lead and participate in infrastructure and systems and application projects.

• Mentor less senior staff.
• Vendor management and interaction for hardware, software, and service troubleshooting and resolution.
• Help define and execute the strategy for infrastructure and systems across the enterprise.
• Support global operations for remote, manufacturing and office-based workforces.
