Job summary

ScotiaTech, a ScotiaGBS unit of Scotiabank, Bogota, is seeking an iOS Developer to build robust native apps. You will design scalable architectures, implement secure practices, and collaborate with UX/UI, QA, and Product to deliver features aligned with business goals.

You will bring 2+ years in iOS with Swift and Objective-C, proficiency in English, and ideally banking industry exposure. Expect standard office hours with occasional non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in iOS development roles.
• Advanced English skills (B2 Level).
• Swift and Objective-C experience (2–3 years).
• Banking industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop native iOS applications using Swift.
• Define and maintain scalable architectures by applying MVVM and SOLID principles.
• Implement secure development practices, including data protection and credential management.
• Participate in technical risk assessments and propose mitigation solutions.
• Remediate vulnerabilities from static and dynamic security scans and pen tests.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, automated tests, and best practices.
• Optimize performance, security, and user experience of iOS apps.
• Integrate applications securely with APIs and backend services.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with UX/UI, QA, and Product.
