Job summary

Ascendion is seeking an Integration Engineer to support enterprise application and API integrations within a digital banking ecosystem. This contract role focuses on secure connectivity, API orchestration, authentication protocols, and integration with financial technology platforms.

You will design, develop, and maintain integrations between digital banking platforms and external services, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure robust interoperability across REST-based integrations

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development or integration engineering experience.
• Strong experience with API orchestration.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with IBM Security Verify Access (formerly ISAM).
• Proficiency working with JSON and XML.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and external services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between digital banking platforms and external services.
• Support API orchestration and service connectivity.
• Implement and maintain authentication and authorization integrations.
• Work with REST-based integrations and structured data formats.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and improve system interoperability.
