Job summary

HeyTutor is partnering with a Fresno school district to hire tutors for elementary and middle school students. You will supervise and assist students during and after regular hours, focusing on catching up from learning gaps.

A background check is required and duties include leading sessions, taking attendance, and documenting progress. Pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, with pay determined by education and experience at interview.

Qualifications

• 40 college credits or Bachelor's degree required.
• Tutoring experience with kids preferred.
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check required (provided).
• Clear TB Test required.

Responsibilities

• Work with groups of students (TK-6) without teacher support.
• Prepare tutoring space before sessions.
• Take attendance and record progress in HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Lead tutoring sessions using provided curriculum and materials.
• Create engaging environment promoting belonging and positive behavior.
