GEA Group seeks an IIoT Engineer to design, implement, and support IIoT solutions that connect food and beverage processing equipment with cloud-based applications and advanced analytics. This role enables real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, process optimization, and sustainability initiatives.

The position can be based in Alcobendas (Spain), Naas (Ireland) or Bogota (Colombia), with a hybrid working model and opportunities for international collaboration on standardizing architectures

Formación

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering or CS.
• 5+ years in Industrial Automation, IIoT, Cloud Engineering, or Digital Solutions.
• Experience delivering cloud software using Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with InfluxDB and Databricks for time-series analytics.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI and industrial control systems.
• Fluent English (B2/C1) required; Spanish or German a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Integrate Siemens and Rockwell automation systems with cloud platforms.
• Support development of digital apps for monitoring, OEE, analytics.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Automation Engineers to define requirements.
• Implement edge-to-cloud connectivity for real-time data collection.
• Drive standardization of digital architectures and integration frameworks.
• Ensure IIoT solutions comply with OT cybersecurity standards.
• Develop standardized data models, asset hierarchies and data structures.
• Support reusable connectivity and analytics solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability and performance.
