IB English Tutor — Remote, 1-on-1 Lessons

Nao Now is hiring part-time English educators to teach IB-aligned, 1-on-1 lessons to children aged 5-12. This is a fully remote independent contractor position with at least 10 teaching hours per week and evenings in local time.

No lesson planning is required as curriculum is provided. Ideal candidates have IB experience, a native-level English background, and strong communication skills to foster inquiry-based, student-centered learning.

Formación

• Native English speaker required.
• Bachelor's degree or current enrollment in a bachelor's program.
• Experience teaching children ages 5-12 is required.
• Familiarity with IB programmes and teaching approaches is preferred.
• Strong understanding of student-centered and inquiry-based learning is essential.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary.
• Friendly, engaging, and energetic teaching style is desirable.
• Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 60 Mbps)
• Quiet, professional teaching environment
• Headset (noise-cancelling preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Teach 25-minute, one-on-1 online English lessons to children ages 5-12.
• Deliver engaging lessons using Nao Now's structured curriculum.
• Apply age-appropriate inquiry-based and student-centered teaching approaches.
• Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, communication, and independent thinking.
• Connect classroom conversations to real-world topics and students' interests.
• Support students in expressing their ideas clearly and confidently in English.
• Create a positive, supportive, and interactive virtual learning environment.
• Provide thoughtful lesson feedback after each class.
• Maintain a professional, energetic, and encouraging on-camera presence
