StoneX Group Inc. Bogotá is seeking a mid-level QA Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team, focusing on in-sprint automation and ensuring quality in automated test scripts. You will mentor teams, drive automation standards, and collaborate with development across multiple platforms to improve testing, performance, and reliability.

The role requires 3-6+ years in QA, strong automation, BDD knowledge, and experience with CI tools. This is a hybrid position with the office in Bogotá, Colombia.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Science/ Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering.
• 3-6+ years of experience in IT, focusing on QA and automation testing.
• Proficient with major language (.NET and/or Java) and scripting (JavaScript, Python), APIs, GUI, XML/JSON, and SQL/NoSQL.
• Hands-on with testing tools such as Visual Studio, Rest API, Postman, Fiddler, Playwright.
• Manage the current test automation architecture and CI practices.
• Hands-on experience with modern automation tools for Web/Mobile/DB testing and current trends.
• Proficient with BDD and Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Strong SQL writing skills; relational DB concepts.
• Experience with CI tools: Azure Pipelines, Git, Jenkins.
• Knowledge of unit test frameworks: TestNG/JUnit/NUnit/MS Test.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Test Rails for bugs and tests.
• Willingness to support manual testing if needed.
• Detail-oriented, initiative, judgment, and teamwork.
• Financial services experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate collaboration across delivery teams to apply standards and drive test automation.
• Define quality gates: code coverage, security scans, performance targets.
• Mentor and support teams on testing processes, automation, performance, scalability, data management, and end-to-end testing.
• Advocate for quality improvements and design next-gen testing architectures.
• Foster a quality-first culture through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Keep skills current with market trends and emerging tools.
• Act as SME on issues affecting product quality, performance, and stability.
• Lead automation testing strategy, design, code reviews, and retrospectives for multiple teams.
• Collaborate with global QA to resolve issues encountered.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, products, upgrades, and vendor solutions.
• Communicate testing issues and resolutions to business, architecture, and operations stakeholders.
