Kankakee School District 111 is seeking a head coach to lead and supervise a comprehensive high school sports program. You will oversee program policy, coach selection, and coordinate with athletic staff to promote sportsmanship, safety, and student growth.

The role requires proven coaching experience, deep technical knowledge of the sport, and a commitment to developing character, discipline, and teamwork through clinics, practices, and competitive events.

Formación

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport. (Major sports)
• The head coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport
• and, at the same time, must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through instructions and actions.
• Report to the athletic director for objectives and evaluation with high school principals.
• Schedule, coordinate and support a staff of high school and middle school coaches with the athletic director and principals.
• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training for individual and team success.
• Upgrade knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations and consultation.
