Job summary

Hook + Ladder Digital, a fast-growing fractional marketing agency for multi-location restaurant brands, seeks a Graphic Designer who brings ideas to life and supports strategy with bold visuals.

Collaborate with Marketing, Content, Design teams to create social, email, ads, landing pages, and print assets. Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and motion graphics required; English fluency essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience in an agency or fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating motion graphics and editing video using After Effects.
• Design across multiple channels including social, email, paid ads, landing pages and print.
• Strong visual storytelling to translate ideas into business outcomes.
• Comfortable collaborating in fast-paced cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English (C1+).

Responsibilities

• Shape creative concepts by collaborating with Client Success, Content, and Performance teams to bring multi-channel campaigns to life.
• Design social media content, emails, paid ads, landing pages, and print assets aligned with each client’s brand and goals.
• Create animations and motion graphics to make campaigns engaging and memorable.
• Translate business objectives and audience insights into visual storytelling.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables with consistent brand execution across digital and print channels.
• Stay curious about design trends, tools, AI, and best practices to enhance work.

Who you are & the impact you’ll make:

• You help shape creative concepts by collaborating shoulder-to-shoulder with Client Success, Content, and Performance teams to bring multi-channel campaigns to life.
• You transform ideas into compelling visual experiences by designing social media content, emails, paid ads, landing pages, print assets, and other creative materials that align with each client's brand and business goals.
• You bring motion into the story by creating animations and motion graphics that make campaigns more engaging and memorable.
• You turn strategy into visual storytelling by translating business objectives and audience insights into creative concepts that connect and perform.
• You elevate every deliverable through thoughtful design, strong attention to detail, and consistent brand execution across digital and traditional channels.
• You stay curious and inspired by keeping up with design trends, emerging tools, AI, and creative best practices that push the quality of your work even further.
• You collaborate openly, embrace feedback, and continuously iterate to create the strongest possible creative solutions.

This job is for you if:

• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in an agency or fast-paced environment.
• You're highly proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating motion graphics and editing video using After Effects or similar tools.
• Experience designing across multiple channels, including social media, email, paid ads, landing pages, and print materials.
• Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to transform ideas into compelling creative that supports business goals.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
• Daily user of AI tools (ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Claude, Gemini; you use them, not fear them).
• Strong project management and organizational skills, balancing multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Fluent English (C1+).

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-location brands.
• Experience in a digital marketing agency.
• Experience with UX/UI design.
• Experience creating motion graphics or advanced animations.
• Experience with illustration, web design, or copywriting.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum workflows.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance creative workflows and design processes.
• Speak Spanish and/or French (not required, but a plus).
