Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Golang Backend Engineer to design and build scalable backend services for cloud-native applications. This role focuses on high-performance server-side logic, API-first design, and robust data flows using PostgreSQL, with deployment in AWS environments.

You will work remotely on global projects, collaborating with world-class engineers, and benefit from flexible schedules and competitive USD compensation. Excellent English required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Go.
• Experience designing scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
• Strong API-first design approach and OpenAPI documentation.
• Experience with Zanzibar (ReBAC) is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of robust and concurrent backend systems using Go.
• Design and maintain scalable REST APIs with OpenAPI specifications.
• Optimize database interactions and data flows using PostgreSQL.
• Architect and deploy services within AWS environments.
• Apply Go concurrency primitives to handle large workloads.
