Job summary

Adidas is seeking a Finance Operations professional within Global Business Services to ensure daily financial and accounting duties are executed accurately. The role focuses on journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes, collaborating with Controlling, Local Finance, and GBS streams.

Ideal candidates bring a university degree, at least two years in accounting, knowledge of SAP or ERP systems, and proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent education required.
• Minimum 2 years’ financial and accounting experience.
• Experience in a Shared Services environment is an advantage.
• Strong accounting and financial expertise within own domain and across related functional areas.
• Knowledge in the use of SAP or similar ERPs, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Power BI.
• Basic English level.
• Problem-solving mindset and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accounting and financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts and daily operational transactions.
• Analyze financial statement variations.
• Support daily, monthly activities and annual close processes.
• Assist various departments in accounting issues and queries.
• Support auditors in conducting internal and external audits.
• Complete other financial and accounting tasks assigned.
