GreenYellow Energía de Colombia SAS in Bogotá seeks a seasoned Financial Manager to lead planning, reporting, treasury, and valuation for a multinational energy group.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting across projects, while building strong controls and mentoring finance teams.

Requires IFRS/NIIF expertise, ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle/Odoo), advanced English, and strategic partnership with executives in a hybrid work environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, Economics, Industrial Eng or related field.
  • Specialization or Master's in Corporate Finance, Management Control, Business Admin or related areas.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in financial planning, financial control, accounting, treasury, taxation, valuation or cost management.
  • At least 5 years leading financial teams and managing planning, reporting, financial control, compliance, and treasury processes.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the organization.
  • Monitor budget execution, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Consolidate financial information across projects, business units, and departments.
  • Drive financial performance monitoring through KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting.
  • Oversee profitability analysis, cost/margin analysis, and valuation across projects.
  • Supervise cash flow management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
  • Coordinate tax planning, compliance activities, and risk assessments.
  • Lead monthly and annual closing processes and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Provide strategic insights and dashboards to Executive Management and Corporate teams.
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance teams across planning, treasury, accounting, valuation, and transformation functions.

Financial Manager

What are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. Specialization or Master's degree in Corporate Finance, Management Control, Business Administration, or related areas. Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in financial planning, financial control, accounting, treasury, taxation, valuation, or cost management, preferably within energy, infrastructure, multinational companies, or capital-intensive industries. At least five (5) years leading financial teams and managing planning, reporting, financial control, compliance, and treasury processes.

Technical Knowledge
  • Financial planning and management control.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Treasury, cash flow management, liquidity, and working capital.
  • IFRS/NIIF, accounting standards, and local tax regulations.

  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar), Excel, and Power BI.
  • Advanced English (B2+).

As a Financial Manager, your mission will be to lead the company's financial management, ensuring robust financial planning, reporting, treasury, accounting, project valuation, compliance, and business analysis activities. You will provide strategic support to senior leadership, ensuring financial discipline, accurate decision-making, sustainable growth, and long-term profitability while leading high-performing finance teams.

Here Are The Specifics Of The Role
Financial Planning & Management Control

Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organization. Monitor budget execution, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions. Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial information across projects, business units, and departments. Drive financial performance monitoring through KPIs, dashboards, and management reporting.

Financial Analysis, Profitability & Valuation

Oversee profitability, cost, and margin analysis across projects, customers, and business units. Ensure the development and review of financial models, investment analyses, and valuation exercises. Support strategic decision-making through financial scenarios and business cases. Standardize methodologies for profitability and value creation assessments.

Treasury, Liquidity & Working Capital

Supervise cash flow management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization. Monitor funding needs, financial obligations, and treasury strategies. Manage banking relationships and ensure sound financial resource allocation. Escalate financial risks and liquidity concerns to senior leadership when required.

Accounting, Tax, Internal Control & Audit

Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and financial regulations. Lead monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate tax planning, compliance activities, and risk assessments alongside tax leadership. Oversee internal controls and external/internal audit processes. Drive finance transformation initiatives focused on efficiency, traceability, and data quality.

Reporting & Executive Financial Support

Ensure the preparation of financial reports for Executive Management and Corporate teams. Lead the development of dashboards, KPIs, and business performance analytics. Provide strategic insights and recommendations supporting investment and business decisions. Ensure alignment between management reporting, accounting information, and corporate standards.

Team Leadership & Financial Excellence

Lead, coach, and develop finance teams across planning, treasury, accounting, valuation, and transformation functions. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, financial rigor, and continuous improvement. Prioritize resources and align team efforts with the Finance Department's strategic objectives.
