BairesDev is hiring a GCP Data Engineer to lead scalable data systems on Google Cloud Platform. You will own the data lifecycle, pipelines, and analytics for strategic decision-making.

You'll design and optimize data processing with Python, leverage BigQuery, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet data needs. This is a 100% remote role with competitive compensation in USD.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cloud Data Management.
• Proven expertise in leading the development of scalable data systems on Google Cloud Platform.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
• Deep understanding of GCP-native services, specifically BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Hands-on experience overseeing complex data pipelines and analytics solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from diverse sources using Python and GCP services.
