Azumo is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer with strong React, Node.js and GraphQL experience. This remote role is based in Latin America and works within EST/PST time zones.

You will shape the front-end architecture, collaborate with product teams, and contribute to AI-driven software projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in React and GraphQL, plus extensive JavaScript/HTML/CSS front-end skills.

Formación

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js).
• 5+ years in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and front-end coding skills.
• 5+ years experience in React and GraphQL.
• Self-driven and motivated with strong problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Enhance existing TypeScript/JavaScript code-base.
• Architect app and integrate with 3rd party APIs/services.
• Design overall application framework including authentication and error handling.
• Implement front-end build, deploy and CI pipeline.
• Collaborate with development teams and product managers on solutions.
• Design client-side and server-side architecture.

Responsibilities

• Enhance existing Typescript and JavaScript code-base
• Architect app and collaborate with the team to integrate with 3rd party APIs and services
• Design the overall application framework, including component hierarchy, authentication, error handling, etc
• Implement the front-end build, deploy and CI pipeline
• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in the field of software development
• Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
• 5+ years experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and front-end coding skills
• 5+ years experience in React and GraphQL each
• Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python)
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• BS or Master's degree in Computer Science, related degree, or equivalent experience
• Some experience with backend development (Java or Node.js)
• Prior experience with building RESTful web services
• Experience writing SQL and using NoSQL databases
• Experience with automated testing (TDD, mocking, unit/functional/integration)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
• An analytical mind
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
