Job summary

Perform is seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our engineering team supporting a global entertainment and media organization. You will work within an agile development team, collaborate with product management, mentor developers, and contribute to high-quality web applications.

Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js is essential; hands-on experience with React, Redux, Jest, Azure SQL, and MongoDB is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or similar role.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript with modern frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Strong experience with Node.js frameworks (Hapi/Express).
• Experience with MongoDB, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Experience with large SPAs and complex state management.
• Familiar with UI frameworks like Bootstrap, Semantic UI React, Material, Tailwind.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests (Jest, Chai, Cypress).
• Experience conducting code reviews for security, quality, and knowledge sharing.
• Proficient with Git and RESTful web services.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You will work within an agile development team, partner closely with product management, perform code reviews, and mentor other developers as you help build and maintain high-quality web applications.

This role is a strong fit for self-motivated engineers who are passionate about both the business and the technology behind it. Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js is essential, and hands-on experience with React, Redux, Jest, Azure SQL, and MongoDB is a strong plus. Just as important is the ability to adapt quickly as technologies and priorities change.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or in a similar role.
• Mastery of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, along with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong experience with a Node.js framework such as Hapi.js or Express.js.
• Experience with database systems such as MongoDB, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
• Experience working on large single-page web applications with complex state management.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Semantic UI React, Material, Tailwind, or similar.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using tools such as Jest, Chai, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience performing code reviews to ensure security, code quality, maintainability, and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Very strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
