Movate is seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer in Colombia to head high-impact engineering initiatives at the intersection of complex full-stack web architectures, frontier AI, and software supply chain defense.

You will design, build, and maintain robust frontend and backend systems while leveraging advanced AI models, automated testing, and security tooling to ensure our products, codebases, and infrastructure remain scalable, resilient, and secure.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture is a plus.
• A passion for open-source technologies and secure software development.
• Advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern web technologies.
• Work across the entire software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Build and optimize Java, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems for performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain React/Angular front-end applications for seamless UI/UX.
• Implement back-end logic using Java.
• Work with cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate and optimize PostgreSQL or MySQL databases.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Ensure security, performance, and maintainability of applications through best coding practices.
• Continuously improve development processes through automation, CI/CD pipelines, and testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern web technologies.
• Work across the entire software development lifecycle - from concept and design to testing and deployment.
• Build and optimize Java, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems to enhance performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain React/Angular front-end applications, ensuring seamless UI/UX experiences.
• Implement back-end logic using Java,

• SANS Certifications: GSEC, GCLD, or equivalent cloud/architecture training.
