SMASH is seeking a senior full‑stack developer to build and enhance enterprise web and desktop applications, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable software across the SDLC. You will work with .NET Core, Flask, Express.js, Angular, and Electron, write clean code in C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and design and consume REST APIs while ensuring performance and scalability.

This is a remote role open to applicants with work authorization in multiple countries;

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 4+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Core, Flask, and Express.js.
• Experience with Angular (React is valuable).
• Experience with Electron desktop apps.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript; experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs; Git and Azure DevOps; Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform unit testing and support defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and integration issues across development, QA, and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
• Support production incidents, root cause analysis (RCA), and application maintenance.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with QA, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.

This position is Remote to work with a US Company; you will require to have Citizenship or a work permit from Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina or Salvador to apply for this role.

Role summary

Requirements - Must-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of Full Stack software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET Core, Flask, and Express.js.
• Experience developing applications with Angular (React experience is also valuable).
• Experience with Electron desktop applications.
• Strong programming skills in C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves (optional)

• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor.
• Experience in the travel and transportation industry.
• Experience supporting production environments and application deployments.
