Job summary

Harding+ is seeking a Jewellery Host to lead guest engagement and present our SEVEN fine jewellery programme on cruise ships worldwide. You will be the public face of SEVEN, hosting seminars, telling the story behind pieces, and building relationships with high-potential guests to drive sales.

You will live and work at sea as part of a close-knit retail team, meeting guests from across the world, planning and running voyage event programmes, and contributing to outstanding guest experiences

Qualifications

• 2+ years in cruise-line or luxury retail, high-value sales or event hosting.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
• Exceptional storytelling and product knowledge in fine jewellery.

Responsibilities

• Host seminars and events, from intimate moments to large theatre settings.
• Connect design, craftsmanship and provenance to guests’ stories to drive desire.
• Generate guest traffic through ship events, VIP invitations, cabin drops, raffles and referrals.
• Secure appointments with high-potential guests and tailor personalised experiences.
• Collaborate with sales team to convert engagement into sales, keeping the experience premium.
• Plan the voyage event programme end to end, from promotion to follow-up.
• Track performance and adjust plans to maximise commercial opportunities.

We're looking for a Jewellery Host to lead guest engagement and deliver our onboard SEVEN fine jewellery programme on cruise ships around the world.

This is a rare opportunity for someone who already knows high-end retail and wants to step into a brand-facing, event-led role. As the public face of SEVEN, you'll create excitement around our collections, host seminars and events, build appointments and relationships with high-potential guests, and turn that engagement into fine jewellery sales. What you'll do

• Host seminars and presentations, from intimate in-store moments to larger theatre settings, using storytelling and showmanship to create desire and draw guests into the boutique
• Romance the product by connecting its design, craftsmanship, gemstones, provenance and meaning to each guest's own story, celebration or aspiration
• Generate guest traffic through ship events, VIP invitations, cabin drops, raffles, referrals and networking across the ship
• Identify and qualify high-potential guests, secure appointments and prepare personalised experiences that feel special from first welcome to follow-up
• Work alongside the sales team, Retail Manager and Fine Jewellery Sales Coach to convert engagement into sales, closing confidently while keeping the experience pressure-free
• Plan and run the voyage event programme end to end, from promotion and preparation through to lead capture and follow-up
• Track performance against targets, review what's working and adjust your plan to make the most of every commercial opportunity
• Share your storytelling and product knowledge with the wider team, helping colleagues build confidence and credibility with guests

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who can carry a brand, hold an audience and sell at a high level.

• At least two years in cruise-line or luxury retail, ideally Fine Jewellery, or equivalent high-value luxury sales and event-hosting experience
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills, comfortable hosting seminars, events and theatre presentations
• Exceptional storytelling and product-romancing ability, with strong Fine Jewellery, diamond and gemstone knowledge, or the ability to pick it up quickly
• Proven luxury sales and clienteling skills, including relationship building, objection handling and closing
• Strong commercial judgement, and the confidence to use performance information to prioritise activity and improve results
• Excellent spoken and written English, with confident, professional communication
• Resilience, adaptability and ownership in a fast-paced, international environment
