National Oilwell Varco in Bogotá is seeking a field service professional to support drilling operations and provide daily updates to customers and the ReedHycalog sales team. You will assist field customers with hydraulic calculations, offset well data, and tool performance expectations.

Responsibilities include equipment inspection, inventory verification, and reviewing assemblies, repairs, and shipping docs, plus recommending drill bit parameters and monitoring conditions to guide tool

Formación

• Experience in field service for drilling operations.
• Ability to perform hydraulic calculations and interpret offset well data.
• Proficient in inspecting equipment and reviewing documentation.
• Able to plan daily activities and communicate with customers.
• Knowledge of drill bits and BHA components.
• Ability to monitor conditions and assist tool retrieval decisions.
• Capable of preparing daily and final run reports.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and prioritize daily activities based on operational requirements.
• Provide daily drilling updates to customers and ReedHycalog sales team.
• Support customers in the field with hydraulics, offset data, and tool performance expectations.
• Verify field tool inventory, inspect equipment, and review assembly, repair, and shipping documentation.
• Recommend operating parameters for drill bits to optimize drilling performance.
• Monitor drilling conditions, identify downhole issues, and assist tool retrieval decisions.
• Evaluate drill bit dull and condition of BHA components.
• Prepare daily and final run reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
