Job summary

Hilti Latin America busca un Ingeniero de Campo para su equipo de Ingeniería, basado en Bogotá. Brindará soporte técnico y consultoría a clientes de construcción, infraestructuras, energía e industria, y trabajará junto al equipo de ventas para planificar estrategias que agreguen valor con nuestras soluciones.

Se requiere título en Ingeniería Civil, experiencia en gestión de proyectos y BIM; se valora una maestría en Ingeniería Estructural y profesionalidad para adaptarse a fases tempranas y

Qualifications

• Título en Ingeniería Civil exigido.
• Se valora especialización maestría/ing. estructural.
• 4–5 años en roles similares, con experiencia en gestión de proyectos.
• Conocimiento de BIM y Lean Construction es plus.
• Inglés intermedio requerido.

Responsibilities

• Atender clientes B2B del sector construcción y tomadores de decisión.
• Planificar y ejecutar estrategias para posicionar soluciones en el mercado.
• Posicionar el valor de productos y soluciones en asociaciones e instituciones.
• Identificar proyectos tempranos para colaborar con ventas y asesorar desde la ingeniería.
• Proporcionar asesoría técnica para apoyar cierres de negocio.
• Realizar visitas técnicas in situ en Bogotá y Medellín.
• Apoyar a la red de ventas con propuestas técnicas y comerciales.

We’re seeking a Field Engineer to join our Engineering team, based in Bogotá. In this role, you’ll provide expert technical support and consulting to clients across the Construction, Infrastructure, Energy & Industry sectors. You’ll also work closely with our Sales teams, planning and executing strategies that add value to the market through our solutions.

This is a technical-strategic position that works closely with our sales team. We’re looking for a professional who is passionate about construction projects from early planning stages to final execution. You should have strong relationship-building skills, the ability to identify customer needs, and the expertise to deliver tailored solutions and specify the right products for each phase of a project.

Lo que harás

• Engage with B2B clients in the Construction Industry, including large construction firms, engineering consultancies and key decision makers on the construction industry


• Plan and execute strategies to positionate our Solutions in the market, from Engineering firms yo Construction companies and industrys.


• Posisionate the value of our products and engineering solutions in Engineering professional associations and institutions.


• Identify early-stage projects to collaborate on with the sales team- advising the project from the engineering, and during the project execution.


• Support ongoing projects by providing technical consulting to help close deals.


• Deliver comprehensive technical advisory services during the early phases of projects.


• Manage customized technical projects by developing solutions, technical specifications, and material lists to meet client needs.


• Conduct on-site visits across Bogota and Medellin.


• Support the sales network in presenting technical and commercial proposals to clients.

Lo que aportarás

• Degree in Civil Engineering.


• A specialization or master’s degree in Structural Engineering is a plus.


• Previous experience and knowledge in Structural Engineering.


• 4–5 years of experience in similar roles, including project management, engineering consulting, or technical-commercial advisory in the Construction Industry.


• Experience with BIM modeling and Lean Construction is a plus


• Conversational English - Intermediate level at least (mandatory)


• Strong interpersonal skills across multiple levels


• Teamwork, leadership and Collaboration attitude


• Organized, proactive, and autonomous - ownership to develop the projects and achieve the goals


• Excellent communication skills
